Gold Country Casino Celebrates Wahlburgers Grand Opening

Gold Country Casino in Oroville opened its new Wahlburgers restaurant this week. The grand opening was held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 16th inside the casino's new Platinum Level.

The Platinum Level is a new 25,000 square-foot area, which opened earlier this month on Oct. 5th and features 300 slot machines, table games, a high-limit gaming area, and the Platinum Bar.

Wahlburgers at Country Gold is a full-service restaurant owned by the celebrity Wahlberg brothers - Chef Paul, Donnie and Mark. The menu includes fun appetizers, entree salads, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, kid's meals, desserts, beer, wine, and boozy shakes.

Today at 10 AM Gold Country Casino Resort will cut-the-ribbon on its new 25,000 square foot gaming expansion named The Platinum Level. The luxury gaming area includes 300 more slot machines, table games, a high-limit gaming area, and the Platinum Bar.

A second Platinum Level ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Oct. 16th for the grand opening of the new Wahlburgers restaurant. This Wahlburgers will be the first in California with full-service, including sit-down dining and a full bar. The restaurant is owned by chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers Mark and Donnie.

Last month Gold Country Casino celebrated its 29th anniversary. The casino is owned by the Berry Creek Rancheria of Tyme Maidu Indians of California and was opened on Sept. 1, 1995.
