Tachi Palace was rebranded "Tachi Palace Casino Resort" in March 2020. The casino resort is located 90 minutes south of Bakerfield between I-5 and Hwy 99 in Lemoore, California. Tachi Palace Casino Resort

Tachi Palace Casino Resort was opened in 1993 by the Tachi Yokut Tribe of Santa Rosa Rancheria. The casino is located in the city of Lemoore in Kings County, California and draws players from Bakersfield, Visalia, Fresno, Lancaster, and farther parts of Northern and Southern California.

Through the years Tachi Palace has expanded its casino to 2,000 slot machines and 21 table games including a 7-table poker room. Tachi Palace has also added a 255-room hotel and spa, 9 restaurants and a 45,000 square-foot concert venue.

In Oct. 2022 Tachi Palace completed a major renovation of the third-floor gaming area, a new front entrance, a restaurant and lounge and a new Cashier Cage and Premier Club.

Tachi Palace Casino completes major renovation/expansion project

Tachi Palace Casino Resort announced last week the completion of a three-and-a-half-year renovation and expansion project. The event was celebrated with a grand opening on May 24th, followed by a meet and greet with pro athletes Steve Garvey, JT Snow, and Lorenzo Neal.

What's the Newest?

• Tachi Palace has a new front entrance.

• The 60,000-square-foot "Casino of the Moon" gaming area has been renovated.

• The "Sun Table Games Pit" is a new table games area designed with the Gatsby theme.

• Tachi Palace has added a new Pizza Hut, two new bars, and a new location for the deli.

• A breezeway has been built to connect the casino to the Coyote Entertainment Center.

Project Summary

Tachi Palace completed the project in phases. The casino added 43,518 square feet to its gaming floor and a new 35,000 square foot bingo hall. A new 120-room hotel tower has also been added.

In addition, the new Coyote Entertainment Center has opened and features movie theaters, a family arcade, bowling, billiards and a sports bar. Parking is expanded with the addition of a three-story parking garage for 1,000 vehicles, and the nearby Yokut Gas Station is expanded to 40 gas and diesel pumps.

Tachi Palace Casino: New renovations for 40th anniversary

March 23, 2023

After completing major renovations in 2022, Tachi Palace Casino Resort announced last week that additional enhancement projects have been underway and nearing completion. These projects include renovation of the Casino of the Moon gaming space, new upgrades to the main entrance of Tachi Palace, and the opening of a new breezeway to the Coyote Entertainment Center.

A "Gatsby theme" upgrade to the main Table Games Pit is halfway completed. The new Sun Table Games Pit area was recently completed and opened on March 17.

In 2022 Tachi Palace completed a new front entrance, expansion of the third floor, renovation of the Coyote Grille Restaurant and Koy' Wae' Lounge, and construction of an all-new Cashier Cage and Premier Club.

A grand opening celebration for all these enhancements is planned for May. The date has not yet been announced.

Tachi Palace Casino completes major renovation

Tachi Palace Casino Resort announced in a press release last week that major renovation work has been completed. The work includes a new front entrance, third-floor expansion, renovation of the Coyote Grille Restaurant and Koy' Wae' Lounge, and an all-new Cashier Cage and Premier Club.

New Front Entrance
The new front entrance to Tachi Palace Casino Resort is now open, although work on the exterior porte-cochere continues until completion later this year. The new entrance adds 30,000 square feet of new gaming floor.

Third Floor Expansion
Tachi Palace has expanded its third floor for more slot machines, new High Limit Room, Food Court, and two Beer Barrel Bars.

Coyote Grille
The award-winning Coyote Grille is expanded for more seating area and remodeled with a new decor. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Koy' Wae' Lounge
Koy' Wae' Lounge has be renovated and relocated near the new front entrance. The venue offers four sushi plates.

Cashier Cage & Premiere Club
The all-new Cashier Cage and Premiere Club are now located at the new front entrance. The Cashier Cage has seven service windows to assist guests. The Premiere Club has five service windows and assist with the member card and rewards program.

New California gaming compact is signed with Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi Yokut Tribe (Tachi Palace Casino)

May 6, 2021

Governor Gavin Newsom's office announced last week the signing of a new tribal-state gaming compact with the Tachi Yokut Tribe of the Santa Rosa Rancheria, which owns the Tachi Palace Casino in Kings county.

The gaming compact is 25 years beginning July 31, 2022. The terms include:

• The Tachi Yokut Tribe are entitled to operate up to 3,000 slot machines.

• The tribe can build a second casino and add a 50 slot machine facility to a hotel.

• The Tribe shall pay to the State a pro rata tax per existing statutes and donate to the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund (RSTF).

• Minimum gambling age is 21 years old.

Tachi Palace is renamed 'Tachi Palace Casino Resort'

March 7, 2020

After major property upgrades over the past two years, Tachi Palace Hotel& Casino has changed its name to 'Tachi Palace Casino Resort'. The rebranding also represents a consolidation of all the business management groups into a single enterprise group.

Last year Tachi Palace opened a new high-limit gaming room and upgraded in dining venues. The previous year the casino added an 88,350 square-foot entertainment center with a 30-lane bowling alley, ten-table billiards room, arcade, an eight-screen movie theater and a gas station and convenience store.

Rojelio Morales, Director of Marketing, explained the rebranding in a news release:

"By creating this enterprise group, we are better able to manage the entire property from a customer service, an maintenance aspect. By combining the offerings and amenities into one group, it became appropriate to change our name from Hotel and Casino to Casino Resort. Tachi Palace Casino Resort is truly a destination unto itself, offering our guests of all ages an amazing, resort experience."

Tachi Palace celebrates grand reopening of High Limit Gaming Room

November 21, 2019

After completing a major renovation, Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore celebrated the grand reopening of its High Limit (HL) Gaming Room last week. The renovation began in September.

The high-limit room now offers classic reel games to video poker, keno and video slots to players seeking to bet up to $200 per spin. Tachi Palace officials call it the "Premiere VIP Slot Experience".

Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino Marketing Director, Rojelio Morales, made this statement at the celebration:

"We are thrilled to reopen our newly renovated High Limit Gaming Room and to be able to offer our players exclusive gaming areas and enhanced amenities. This opening complements other improvements including the recent opening of The Market Place at Pork Chop Hill Buffett and PHO-Nominal Eats. And we aren't finished yet, there's more to announce in the near future."

The High Limit (HL) Gaming Room is located on the first floor of the Casino of the Sun. It has four TV monitors showing sports events, and a selection of HL-branded snacks and drinks. The room is open to players 24 hours daily.

Tachi Palace opens Pho-Nominal Eats

September 6, 2019

The new Pho-Nominal Eats opened Aug 28th at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino as VIPs and guest were invited its grand opening ceremony.

This casual dining venue is located on the third floor of the Casino of the Moon and is open daily noon to 11 pm.

The menu offers a selection of Vietnamese PHO noodle soups with either chicken, beef, shumai, asian meatball or shrimp. There is also a choice of pan asian bowls including teriyaki rice bowls with chicken or beef, spicy shrimp rice bowls or teriyaki cauliflower vegetable rice bowls. The memu also includes egg rolls, California rolls, Veitnamese rolls and Veitnamese chicken salad.

Tachi Palace adds huge 45,000 square-foot concert tent

June 27, 2018

The new outdoor entertainment facility is preparing to open. The venue is located in a large tent that is 45,000 square feet. It is 150 feet wide and 300 feet in length. There are three exhaust fans that are oversized to help keep guests comfortable. The first concert in the new venue will be Ann Wilson. It is scheduled to take place there will be on July 12.

This is the largest outdoor tent venue of its kind. Sprung is the company that designed the tent. The casino has been hosting many summer concerts that have been free to visitors.

There was already an outdoor entertainment area offered at the casino. However, the new addition of the concert tent has helped to increase that area.

Tachi Palace began an expansion project for the casino last year. The concert tent is only a small part of the project to enlarge the amenities offered to guests. The project is expected to be completed by this fall.

A new entertainment venue is being developed. It will offer a movie theater with eight movie screens. There will be an arcade. A room for billiards offering ten tables. Also a bowling alley with thirty lanes. The entertainment complex will offer more options for families.

The entertainment center will be connected to the main casino by a new concourse.

Parking at the casino will also be increased by 930 spots.

The Tachi Palace opened 35 years ago. Over that time, the casino has worked torwards ways to offer more amenities to guests and create a better experience for them. The latest projects will allow the casino to offer more forms of entertainment, more programs for guests, additional parking, and outdoor concerts more comfortable for guests.
