Overview

Red Hawk Resort + Casino features an 88,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 2,100 slot machines and more than 70 table games. The resort has expanded beyond gaming with a 156-room hotel and the 85,000-square-foot The Apex entertainment complex.

Red Hawk is currently undertaking another major expansion. A new 4,600-square-foot bingo venue opens Sept. 21, 2026, while a new gaming pavilion is targeted for the first quarter of 2027. The pavilion will provide a separate area for smoking-permitted gaming and allow the primary casino floor to transition to a smoke-free environment

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is progressing through a new phase of expansion designed to change both the gaming mix and smoking configuration of the property.

New Bingo Room

The new 4,600-square-foot Bingo Room is located on the lower level and accommodates as many as 400 guests. In addition to regular bingo play, the multifunction space was designed for large groups, special events and private gatherings.

The Bingo Room opens Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, with its first session scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

New Gaming Pavilion

The largest remaining portion of the current casino project is a new gaming pavilion dedicated to smoking-permitted slots and table games.

When the pavilion opens, smoking gaming will be relocated from the primary casino into the new space. The main casino floor and primary guest areas will subsequently transition to smoke-free operation.

The gaming pavilion is targeted to open during the first quarter of 2027.

Future Development

Separate from the current casino-floor expansion, the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians has also advanced plans for additional development surrounding Red Hawk, including a proposed 5,000-seat indoor arena and the 50 Oaks Family Golf Complex.

The casino at Red Hawk Resort + Casino encompasses approximately 88,000 square feet and currently advertises more than 2,100 slot machines and more than 70 table games.

Slot Machines

Red Hawk offers more than 2,100 slot machines, with denominations ranging from one cent through $25. The selection includes video slots, reel games and progressive machines.

Games identified by the casino include titles such as Huff n' Puff, Buffalo Stampede and 88 Fortunes. The casino also promotes newer titles and maintains a dedicated High Limit area.

High Limit Gaming

The High Limit Room combines higher-limit slots and table games with an exclusive bar and food and cocktail service.

Table Games

Red Hawk advertises more than 70 table games, including multiple forms of blackjack, baccarat, poker-derived games and other specialty games. Blackjack minimums on select tables start at $5.

Non-Smoking Gaming

Before completion of the new gaming pavilion, Red Hawk's existing non-smoking offering includes an entire floor with more than 240 slot machines and access to restaurants.

The current expansion will substantially change that arrangement by moving smoking-permitted gaming into the new pavilion and transitioning the primary casino floor and guest areas to smoke-free operation.

Bingo at Red Hawk Casino

The new dedicated Bingo Room represents an additional gaming option at Red Hawk and one of the principal components of the 2026-2027 casino expansion.

The 4,600-square-foot lower-level venue accommodates as many as 400 bingo players and can also support special events, groups and private functions.

Beginning Sept. 21, regular bingo sessions are scheduled for:

• Monday: 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Noon and 5:30 p.m.
• Sunday: Noon and 5:30 p.m.

The hotel transformed Red Hawk from a casino and entertainment property into a full casino resort.

The 156-room hotel offers accommodations ranging from deluxe rooms to premium suites. Deluxe accommodations measure approximately 440 square feet, while the largest premium suites extend to approximately 900 square feet. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the surrounding foothills.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, meeting and conference facilities and on-site dining. Rooms feature amenities including flat-screen televisions, mini-refrigerators, coffee makers and safes. The hotel is entirely non-smoking.

The hotel is directly associated with Red Hawk's earlier major resort expansion, which also produced The Apex entertainment complex.

The Apex significantly broadens Red Hawk's appeal beyond casino gambling.

The approximately 85,000-square-foot, all-ages entertainment complex was constructed above the casino's existing parking structure and opened to the public in December 2022.

Three-Level Indoor Karting

The Apex features a three-level indoor electric go-kart track, providing one of the complex's signature attractions.

Bowling

The bowling center features 18 interactive bowling lanes.

Golf Simulators

The Apex includes four golf simulators, providing another recreation option within the complex.

Virtual Reality Arcade

The Apex also includes a large virtual-reality arcade.

Apex Sports Bar

The 21-and-older Apex Sports Bar includes bar-top and freestanding video slots along with multiple television screens for sports viewing. Red Hawk's original description of the venue identified a 28-foot television for highlighted events.

Together with the hotel, The Apex was part of Red Hawk's first major physical expansion following the casino's opening in 2008.

Red Hawk Resort + Casino advertises six restaurants, with choices encompassing steakhouse dining, Asian cuisine, buffet service, coffee and quick-service food.

Henry's Steakhouse

Henry's Steakhouse is Red Hawk's flagship fine-dining restaurant. The steakhouse has a club-style interior featuring rich leather seating and wood detailing.

The adjacent Henry's Mahogany Bar serves craft beer, specialty cocktails and wines, including local, regional and international selections, and offers bar-top video poker.

Pearl Asian Cuisine

Pearl Asian Cuisine specializes in traditional Chinese dishes and Pacific Rim cuisine, with separate lunch and dinner service. The restaurant offers a selection of traditional Asian dishes in a full-service setting.

Koto Buffet

Koto Buffet is Red Hawk's all-you-can-eat buffet, offering multiple types and styles of food. The restaurant also offers an Elevated Sunday Champagne Brunch.

Verona Coffeehouse

Verona Coffeehouse is a 24-hour coffeehouse offering coffee, espresso, tea and specialty beverages as well as baked goods, breakfast selections, sandwiches and snacks.

A separate Verona Express near the Stage Bar provides a smaller selection of specialty drinks, smoothies and food during its operating hours.

The Burger Spot

The Burger Spot is Red Hawk's casual, quick-service option for comfort food. Its offerings include burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken tenders, sandwiches and pretzels.

Red Hawk's bar and lounge offerings include the High Limit Bar, Apex Sports Bar, Stage Bar and Henry's Mahogany Bar.

Entertainment at Red Hawk Casino

Entertainment at Red Hawk is divided between traditional casino nightlife and the property's extensive family-oriented attractions.

Stage Bar

The Stage Bar is the casino's primary live-music venue. Red Hawk schedules live bands there on Friday and Saturday nights, with programming spanning genres including rock, country, dance and pop.

Family Entertainment

In addition to The Apex, Red Hawk offers Cyber Quest, a professionally supervised video-game arcade featuring non-violent games.

Kids Quest provides supervised childcare for children from six weeks through age 12, with features including an indoor playground, Tiny Tots area and Techno Quest video and arcade games.

The transformation of Red Hawk is not expected to end with the current casino pavilion.

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians has been progressing plans for a 5,000-seat indoor arena adjacent to Red Hawk Resort + Casino. The proposed venue has been envisioned for concerts, sporting events, conventions and community gatherings.

The tribe is also developing the 50 Oaks Family Golf Complex, planned on approximately 42 acres south of the casino. Plans include a 12-hole, all-par-3 golf course, two-level driving range, miniature golf and entertainment pavilion.
