Crystal Sky Travel Plaza

Crystal Sky Travel Plaza is located in Louisville, Mississippi at S. Church Ave. and Railroad Ave. This is an enterprise of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. The Crystal Sky name was chosen from a contest of Choctaw tribal members and derived from their community's name of Crystal Ridge.

The Mississippi Choctaw also own the Pearl River Resort in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Pearl River operates two casinos: Silver Star Casino and Golden Moon Casino. The tribe also owns the Bok Homa Casino in Heidelberg.

The grand opening ceremony was held Dec. 19, 2024 and included speeches by tribal leaders and local officials.

Crystal Sky is open 24/7. The building is 18,000-square-feet and includes a casino with 150 slot machines and a sportsbook lounge, a restaurant, and 3,000-square-feet of store merchandise.

Crystal Sky Travel Plaza celebrates grand opening today - Dec. 19, 2024

The Mississippi Choctaw will celebrate the grand opening of the new Crystal Sky Travel Plaza in Winston County today at 11:00 am. The 18,000-sq-ft facility features a 24/7 casino with 150 Class II slot machines and a sports betting lounge, a restaurant, a 3,000-sq-ft retail store, and a fuel station.

Crystal Sky is located in Louisville, Mississippi at the intersection of Church and Railroad Avenues.

Pearl River Resorts breaks ground on new Louisville casino

The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians broke ground Wednesday on a new 18,000-square-foot casino and travel plaza in Louisville, Mississippi. The $25 million project will include a casino with 150 slot machines and a sportsbook lounge, a family restaurant, a large convenience store, and fueling stations.

"Louisville Travel Plaza" is a temporary name for the project. It will be renamed later with the permanent name chosen from a tribal-members contest.

The Louisville Travel Plaza will be located on an 18-acre site on South Church Street in Louisville, MS. The land is part of the Crystal Ridge Community on the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians reservation.

The opening date for the casino and travel plaza is expected in the summer of 2024.
