On Nov. 6, 2019 the Oneida Indian Nation announced plans for The Lake House at Sylvan Beach, a new gaming and dining venue.
The gaming area will feature 100 slot machines and the dining area will include indoor and outdoor tables. The food will be managed by the restaurant staff at the Turning Stone Casino Resort.
The original opening was planned for May 2020, but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lake House at Sylvan Beach officially opened July 27, 2020.

The Oneida Indian Nation will open its new "Lakehouse at Sylvan Beach" on Monday July 27. The facility features a 50-foot-tall lighthouse, a casino, a restaurant and an outdoor entertainment venue.
The casino area will feature 100 slot machines. The restaurant will feature Indoor and outdoor dining areas, and its management will be provided by Turning Stone Casino Resort. There will be three bars on the property. Live entertainment will perform at an outdoor patio.
Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO, Ray Halbritter, released this statement:
"As we navigate and recover responsibly from the current pandemic, we are continuing to plan for the long-term economic development of our region."
"The addition of The Lake House to our expanding roster of world-class properties is the latest example of our commitment to create new jobs and make Central New York a year-round tourist destination for years to come."

The Oneida Indian Nation announced plans this week to open a new gaming and dining venue in Sylvan Beach, New York, named "The Lake House at Sylvan Beach".
The property was previously the Dicastro's Restaurant and more recently Pfohl's Beach House. The Oneida have already started reconstruction at the site and hope to open their new property in late July 2020.
"The Lake House at Sylvan Beach" will feature a gaming area with 100 slot machines. There will be indoor and outdoor dining areas operated by the restaurant management of Turning Stone Resort Casino.
Ray Halbritter, a representative of the Oneida Indian Nation representative, said in a press release:
"We are thrilled to be expanding on this success with the new Sylvan Beach project, which will continue to make Central New York a world-class tourist destination and support the local economy with new jobs and new public revenues."
The Oneida Indian Nation operates the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, the Point Place Casino in Bridgeport, the Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango and slot machines in its SavOn gas and convenience stores.
