New Pawhuska Casino
The Osage Nation is building a second casino near Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The construction site lies on 63 acres at the intersection of Highways 99 and 60. The new casino will be larger and include a hotel.
The existing Osage Casino in Pawhuska at 2017 East 15th Street & Hwy 99 will be relocated to a 17-acre section of the new property at Highways 99 and 60. It will operate there during construction of the new casino hotel. When the new casino is completed, the original Pawhuska casino will be closed.
Federal Approval
The Osage Nation filed an application with the U.S. Interior Department in 2016 seeking transfer of 63 acres of land at Highways 99 and 60 into federal trust for the purpose of building an Indian gaming casino and hotel. The application received federal approval in July 2020.
