Duck Creek Casino celebrates grand opening of new expansion April 15

April 12, 2018

On April 15, 2018 the Duck Creek Casino will be holding a celebration. The event is for the grand opening of the casino's newly expanded addition. The casino is owned by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Two years ago, is when the planning stages started on the expansion project for the casino.

Over 8,000 square feet have been added to the casino gaming floor. In addition, over 200 more slot gaming machines have been added to the new space. As well as, 4D machines have also been added. The machines are some of the newest technology in the gaming industry.

The design for the project was done by I-5 Designs.

Celebration plans will start at 5:30 PM on Sunday. At the entrance to the south of the building will be the location for the ceremony for the ribbon cutting. At 6 PM will be an event for VIPs. Invited to the event will be both gaming and tribal officials. Special invited guests. Also 600 of the casino's top players. The River Spirit Casino Resort is catering the dinner.

Pepsi has sponsored promotional giveaways for the event being held the following day, April 16. KVOO radio will also be hosting a live remote event.

The expansion project to the gaming floor was created to give the guests a better experience. The original space was becoming cramped due to the number of visitors.
