The new FireLake Casino Hotel in Shawnee, Oklahoma has replaced the original FireLake Casino, which had been operating since 1983. The new casino is located near the intersection of Gordon Cooper Drive and Hardesty Road.
FireLake Casino Hotel is owned and operted by the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indian Tribe, which also owns the Grand Casino Hotel Resort, the FireLake Bowling Center and the Firelake Golf Course.

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN) celebrated the grand opening of its all-new FireLake Casino and Hotel on Friday, June 27. The new casino is located near the intersection of Gordon Cooper Drive and Hardesty Road in Shawnee, OK.
The grand opening was celebrated at 10:30 am Friday and guest received free grand opening t-shirts

The new casino has a gaming floor of 49,000 square feet and features 450 slot machines. There is a full-service restaurant and bar named FireLake Bistro, and a new 3-story, 126-room hotel.

The new FireLake Casino Hotel in Shawnee, OK, was scheduled to open this month, according to the last update from the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. That update was issued September 3, 2024, and it announced the grand opening was scheduled for Feb. 2025. Obviously, that did not happen. February is here and almost gone!
So, when will the FireLake Casino Hotel actually open? All we can say at this point is to stay tuned, friends.
The new FireLake casino hotel is located near the intersection of Gordon Cooper Drive and Hardesty Road. This is on the same parcel of land as the existing, 42 year-old FireLake Casino, which it will replace. The new casino will be 49,000 square feet with 450 slot machines, a restaurant and bar, and a 126-room hotel.
