On October 24th the Angel of the Winds Casino will celebrate the completion and grand opening of its $60 million expansion project that began in January 2018.
The project has added 300,000 square feet for more gaming space, entertainment and restaurants. As sections of the project were completed they were opened to the public.
The final remaining part of the project to be completed is the Jade Fusion restaurant. It will offer a wide range of menu choices from Southeast Asia.

After 18 months of new construction, Angel of the Winds Casino is nearing the completion on its massive expansion project that started in January 2018. The $60 million project is adding 300,000 square feet for more gaming area, more restaurants and new entertainment venues.
Yesterday the casino celebrated the completion and opening of two major additions. The expanded gaming floor was opened with more slot machines and table games, and a new three-story parking structure was opened with 575 vehicle spaces.
More new features, such as entertainment and dining venues, will be unveiled between now and October when Angel of the Winds Casino celebrates the grand opening of this expansion project at the same time as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The new casino floor was officially opened Aug 8. It added 275 more slot machines and 15 more table games. Total slots are now 1,425 and table games are 24. The new gaming area also has the new Gravity Bar.
Three new restaurants will open soon. The Whiskey Prime Steakhouse is an upscale dining venue, the new Riverside Buffet will replace Watershed Buffet, and On the Rocks Lounge will be replaced by Jade Fusion and its Southeast Asian cuisine.
RIVER RUN EVENT CENTER
This is a 9,000-square-foot venue for live entertainment, music concerts, conventions and dinner receptions. The first concert will be Aug 30 and feature artist John Michael Montgomery.
STRIKERZ BOWLING ALLEY
The new 16-lane bowling alley will open before the end of this month. It is the first to open inside a Washington Indian casino and the first to open in Snohomish County in decades.
Strikerz offers standard bowling and "hyperbowling". Hyperbowling uses "dazzling random lights on gutters and colorful targets on bumpers to hit - or avoid - to multiply scores for the number of pins knocked down."
A unique feature is a video screen located above the pins and extending across all lanes. The screen will show video from concerts in the Rivers Run Event Center.
"All Things Sports" is a virtual sports studio for playing virtual golf, lacrosse, hockey, zombie dodgeball and more.
