Graton Casino cancels indoor NYE party with 4,000 Guests

Graton Resort and Casino north of San Francisco avoided a major health and public relations catastrophe by canceling a huge. indoor New Years Eve party. Over 4,000 guest were expected.

The cancellation was announced on Facebook on Christmas Eve:

"Graton Resort Casino will close at 5:00 p.m. on 12/31 for all activities. All parties and gatherings on New Year's Eve have been canceled. The casino will re-open on 1/1/21 at 6:00 a.m."

Graton Resort and Casino is not subject to state of local COVID-19 health rules because it is located on the sovereign land of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and governed only by federal law.

Graton Resort & Casino reopens June 18

June 6, 2020

After shutting down on March 17th to fight the spread of COVID-19, Graton Resort & Casino will reopen on Thursday, June 18th at 8am!

All guests and employees must pass a temperature check when entering Graton Casino. Individuals with temperatures above 100.4 degrees will not be admitted. In addition, all guests and employees must wear face masks at all times.

The physical layout in the gaming areas has been configured for proper social distancing between players. Similarly, the restaurant is spaced for proper distances between tables.

Valet service will be temporarily suspended. Hotel amenities, such as the spa & salon, pool, fitness center and business center will also be suspended.
