Catawba Two Kings Casino | Countdown Begins to Grand Opening

Catawba Two Kings Casino is actively counting down to a late March 2026 grand opening of its new Introductory Casino. Although the exact date has not been set, the transition from the modular/temporary casino to the new ground-floor, introductory casino inside the permanent casino building is in the final days.

March 20, 2026
The "Taste and Tour" preview event will be held inside the new casino from 6 PM to 9 PM March 20 for invited members of the Catawba Nation only. This will be a guided walkthrough of the facility and a sample tasting of foods from its new Toads Table restaurant. The restaurant will feature an "elevated casual" menu of signature burgers, artisanal sandwiches and freshly prepared regional entrees.

March 21, 2036
The final $50,000 cash drawing will be held at the temporary casino marking the ending of an era that started July 1, 2021.

March 24, 2026
The Big Switch program to discontinue the current table game chips will begin March 24th and continue for 120 days. Old chips can be redeemed at the cage inside the new Introductory Casino.

Late March (TBA)
The official grand opening will kickoff with brief speeches from tribal and casino officials followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Tribal Chief Brian Harris.
