Tennessee sports betting opens Nov 1, 2020

Tennessee will be the next state to open legalized sports betting beginning on the first of November. Bets will only be accepted through online mobile apps.

The Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery is responsible for reviewing and authorizing applications from betting app operators. So far three online operators have been licensed and will launch Nov. 1. These are DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook and BetMGM Sportsbook.

A total of five sportsbook operators are expected to launch on the first day. The other two sportsbooks that should be licensed and ready that day are BetRivers Sportsbook and Tennessee Action 24/7.
