The new Comanche War Pony Casino in Devol, Oklahoma officially opened its doors to the public today! The grand opening celebration included the following events:

10:00 AM - Cedar ceremony, prayer and blessing followed by a short speeches by casino officials.

11 AM - Ceremonial opening of the gaming floor.

12 PM to 2 PM - Complimentary burgers and drinks

2 AM to 2AM - Special player promotions

The Comanche War Pony Casino opens everyday at 9 AM and features 250 gaming machines.

Comanche War Pony Casino in Devol is openiing March 19

March 5, 2022

Comanche War Pony Casino will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday March 19. The festivities will begin with a Cedar ceremony, prayer and blessing at 10 AM. After remarks from Mia Tahdooahnippah, CEO of Comanche Nation Entertainment, a ribbon cutting at 11 AM will open the gaming floor. Food and beverages will be served from noon to 2 PM followed by special promotions to casino players.

"As we expand, our priority is to provide our guests with a unique experience that cannot be found at any other casino in the state. Most of the games we are introducing will be the first of their kind and offer a wide variety to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy."

Comanche War Pony Casino is the first of two new Comanche casino to open in 2022. The other is Comanche Cache Casino.

Comanche casinos offering gas credits to attract and retain employees

Comanche casino employees at the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino and Comanche War Pony Casino will soon receive a weekly $25 gas credit to the Comanche Travel Plaza gas station. The new benefit begins Dec. 15 as an additional effort to attract and retain employees. A few months ago Comanche Nation Entertainment raised the minimum casino wage to $12/hour for similar reasons.

Many Devol workers drive 20-40 miles to work, so the gas credit is a simple benefit to help with the drive. Employees simply show their ID card at the travel plaza to redeem the credit.
