The Pascua Yaqui Tribe has released the first artist renderings of the new casino coming to downtown Tucson at West Grant Road near Interstate 10. These images represent the casino only, which will be the first phase of the development project. (See all 11 photos)

The renderings were created by Yaeger Architecture, the architect firm for the Tucson casino development project. The designs shows a blend of Pascua Yaqui Tribe cultural heritage with modern aesthetics.
The renderings show the casino floor with Class-III slot machines, a high-limit room, a sportsbook, feature bar, and arestaurant. (See all 11 photos)
The Pascua Yaqui Tribe has selected a team of design, construction, and project management companies to build its new casino in downtown Tucson, Arizona. The casino construction site is close to Old Pascua at West Grant Road near Interstate 10.
The 73,000-square-foot casino will be built on the former site of a Century 16 movie complex, which was demolished and cleared a year ago in March 2023. Construction will proceed in two phases with the casino in phase one and the hotel and conference center in phase two. The size and layout of the complex will be similar to Casino del Sol.
Yaeger Architecture will be the architect-of-record with responsibility for the exterior and interior designs. McCarthy Building Companies will be the construction company. Summit Project Management is a project management service specializing in hospitality and gaming.

New Tucson Casino Plan is Officially Underway

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe's plan to build a new Tucson casino near Old Pascua is now officially underway. A 31-acre building site on West Grant Road east of Interstate 10 has been transferred into federal trust for the tribe by the Department of Interior. The site is now sovereign tribal land ready for development and operation of the new Tucson casino

The land is the former site of the Century Park 16 Theaters, which were demolished and cleared last March.

The casino information released so far is only general. There will be gaming machines, table games, sports betting, and food and beverage venues. Further casino details are pending, and no timeline for construction has been announced.
