Casino Del Sol Vahi Taa'am on Track for Early 2027 Opening in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ June 1, 2026 - Construction of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe's new Casino Del Sol Vahi Taa'am is progressing toward an early 2027 opening. The new Three Suns casino is rising along West Grant Road on the former Century Park 16 movie theater site.

- Full construction completion: November 11, 2026

Cultural significance
The name Vahi Taa'am means "Three Suns" in the Yoeme language. The project stands on land placed into trust under the Old Pascua Community Land Acquisition Act (H.R. 4881). The illuminated dome has become a new landmark along Grant Road.
