A New Hotel Tower Will Anchor the Next Phase

The next major milestone is a new 200-plus-room hotel tower, designed to elevate Graton into a full-scale destination resort. Plans call for premium rooms, expanded suites, and an adults-only pool deck positioned to compete with high-end West Coast casino properties. Construction sequencing places the tower as the centerpiece of the next 24-36 months.

The new tower is expected to drive additional hiring, expand conference and group-travel capacity, and support the casino's long-term strategy of becoming Northern California's closest equivalent to a Las Vegas integrated resort.

A Large Entertainment Venue Is in Development

Graton is also preparing for a major entertainment venue that will significantly expand its live-event footprint. While the casino has not released final specifications, planning documents and prior statements indicate a venue capable of hosting concerts, touring shows, and large-format events.

This addition would position Graton as a regional entertainment hub, drawing audiences from Sonoma County, the North Bay, and the greater Bay Area.

Gaming Capacity Will Continue to Grow

The May 4 opening added roughly 2,000 slot machines, but Graton's long-term plan allows for expansion toward 6,000 total machines. This growth will occur in phases as new wings, corridors, and gaming areas come online.

The casino's expanded high-limit gaming and poker room are early steps in a broader strategy to diversify gaming experiences across both smoking and non-smoking environments.

Graton's culinary strategy is shifting toward destination dining, with high-investment concepts intended to draw both casino guests and non-gaming visitors.
