Hard Rock Guitar Hotel Construction Progress | March 2026

Our new March photos of the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel construction site in Las Vegas show how much progress has been made since our January photos.

KEY PROGRESS

➤ Steel Framework
Jan. 2026 - 28 floors
Mar. 2026 - 36 floors
Hotel plan is 42 floors

The new photos show the steel framework has risen from the 28th floor in January to the 36th floor in March. When finished, the total number of hotel floors will be 42. The final height will reach 660-700 feet.

➤ Blue-Glass Windows
Jan. 2026 - 15th floor
Mar. 2026 - 25th floor

The blue glass windows do not begin until the 6th floor. In January the blue-glass extended from the 6th to the 15th floor, which holds the base of the guitar strings, aka the guitar bridge. Another 4 floors were partially finished above the guitar bridge. The March photos whow the blue-glass windows is now risen over 10 floors of guitar strings above the bridge reaching the 25th floor.

➤ Guitar Strings
Blue-glass now covers 10 floors of guitar strings with work underway on the next floor (26th floor).

➤ 36th Floor
The highest level in this photo is the 36th floor of the guitar-shaped hotel. Six more floors will complete the guitar framework.

➤ Mirage Hotel Transformation
The original Mirage hotel stands next to the guitar hotel and is undergoing a total renovation. The photo below shows all the original gold windows have been removed. These windows will be replaced with blue panes to match the guitar hotel.

➤ Construction Status
Construction of the Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas and Guitar Hotel continues 24/7. The project will be completed in late 2027.
