Red Hawk Casino prepares to open 'Apex' and new Hotel

Red Hawk Casino will soon open its new Apex fun center and new 156-room hotel. The opening date has not been announced. However, Red Hawk is running TV ads to promote these additions and also hiring new employees in advance of the grand openings.

Red Hawk Casino is now hiring workers for the APEX. A job fair was held November 1 and Walk-in interviews are accepted every Tuesday and Thursdays from 10am-3pm. For job information contact HR at 530-672-5361.

Red Hawk Casino partners with Sacramento Kings

Last week the Sacramento Kings and Red Hawk Casino announced a multi-year partnership beginning with next year's NBA season.

The partnership will give Kings fans a chance to win exclusive casino opportunities including family getaways and special rewards; and, Red Hawk Casino visitors will have a chance to win tickets to Kings games and shows at Golden 1 Center.

Red Hawk's hotel, amusement center construction updates - July 2022

Red Hawk Casino is adding a new hotel and an amusement complex later this year. The hotel will feature 125 guest rooms and 25 suites, an outdoor terrace, pool and fitness center. The amusement complex will offer bowling, indoor go-kart racing, golf simulation bays and an arcade.

Hotel
Construction on the five-story hotel is progressing towards completion later this year. A "topping off" celebration was held June 17 to mark the placement of the final steel beam, which completed the structural framework of the hotel. The grand opening is expected this fall.

Amusement Center
An 85,000-square-foot amusement center will open for all ages near the time of the hotel opening. The location will be off the casino and above the parking garage, which has been enlarged by 20%.

Red Hawk Casino Expansion Status (April 2022)

Red Hawk Casino is adding a 5-story, 156-room hotel adjacent to the casino. Construction began with a groundbreaking June 24, 2021 and is scheduled for completion this Fall. Construction is currently on schedule according to the casino.

The hotel project is 120,000 square feet comprising 156 guest rooms including 25 suites and an outdoor terrace with a pool and fitness center. The hotel design includes traditional design elements of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and scenic views of the surrounding foothills.

The Red Hawk Hotel is designed by Williams and Paddon Architects and Planners and the construction companies are Level 10 Construction and Avanti Builders Inc.

New Entertainment Center

There has not been no information about a groundbreaking for the new entertainment center announced in 2021. The project will be built on off-reservation land, which requires additional approvals and an intergovernmental agreement with the County to compensate for the cost of public services and safety.

The planned entertainment center will occupy 75,000 square feet of space and feature a bowling alley, virtual reality gaming suites, and indoor go-carting. The parking garage will be enlarged to provide 20 percent more parking spaces.
