New Photos Show Active Construction at Guitar Hotel Summit and Former Mirage Tower

Guitar Hotel Crown Construction Continues

The latest photos show that construction remains active at the highest point of Hard Rock Las Vegas' signature Guitar Hotel.

While the tower's distinctive guitar shape is now fully recognizable from across the Las Vegas Strip, close-up images reveal exposed structural steel extending above the completed facade. Temporary work platforms remain attached near the summit, and cranes continue to operate around the upper portion of the structure.

The visible activity indicates crews are still working on architectural and structural elements above the roofline, making the crown area one of the most active portions of the tower.

Guitar Tower Exterior Nears Completion

Despite ongoing work at the summit, much of the Guitar Hotel's exterior appears substantially complete.

The reflective blue-glass facade now covers most visible portions of the building, highlighting the project's defining guitar-inspired design. White architectural trim outlining the instrument's shape is also largely in place, creating one of the clearest views yet of the resort's future centerpiece.

The latest images suggest exterior enclosure work is approaching completion across much of the tower, with construction activity increasingly focused on upper-level features and finishing work.

Mirage Tower Transformation Advances

Significant progress is also visible on the former Mirage hotel tower, where large portions of the exterior have been transformed with newly installed blue-tinted glass.

The updated facade dramatically changes the appearance of the longtime Strip landmark and provides one of the most visible signs of Hard Rock's ongoing redevelopment efforts.

While much of the glazing work appears complete, some upper-level sections remain unfinished, indicating crews continue to make progress on the tower's exterior renovation.

Interior Construction Visible Behind New Glass

One of the most notable details captured in the latest photos is active construction taking place behind completed sections of the new facade.

A close-up image shows workers performing interior build-out work on multiple levels within the tower. Construction equipment, unfinished spaces and active work zones remain visible behind recently installed glass panels.

The scene demonstrates that Hard Rock's redevelopment extends well beyond exterior upgrades, with crews continuing extensive renovation work throughout the building's interior.

Taken together, the latest images show visible progress across both major components of the Hard Rock Las Vegas redevelopment.

The Guitar Hotel's exterior appears largely complete, but construction remains active on the tower's crown. At the same time, significant exterior and interior renovation work continues on the former Mirage hotel tower.

While substantial work remains before the project opens, the newest photos provide one of the clearest indications yet that development is advancing simultaneously across multiple areas of the site.
