HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO

The Spokane Tribe plans to build a $400 million Hard Rock-branded casino on 145 acres adjacent to Airway Heights and across Highway 2 from Fairchild Air Force Base.
On June 15, 2015 the U.S. Department of the Interior announced its approval of the casino. Soon afterwards on June 29, 2015 the Spokane Tribe signed a deal with Hard Rock for branding and merchandising. Governor Jay Inslee approved the casino plan on June 8, 2016.
TWO-STAGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be built in two stages. A ground-breaking Nov 9, 2016 launched first phase construction of a casino at a cost of $40 million.
