LAKE CHARLES, LA - Pinnacle Entertainment plans to build its $350 million Sugarcane Bay riverboat casino resort in Lake Charles this summer. The new resort complex will include a casino, a 400-room hotel, a golf course, and an arena. The location is next to Pinnacle’s current riverboat hotel-resort in Lake Charles.

Before construction begins, the final plans must be approved by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board which meets later this month. If approved, the company will have 30 days to begin construction.
