The Shooting Star Casino Bagley opened on Wednesday. This is the second Shooting
Star casino location. The casino is owned by the White Earth Ojibwe Tribe.
The new location has 170 slot machines. There is also a bar and grill
restaurant. It is smaller than the original location at only 21,400 square feet.
A feasibility study was conducted in 2015 to find out if the new casino would be
viable in the area. The tribe agreed to move forward on the project finding that
the location had great market potential. November of that year the ground was
71 new jobs were created by the casino.
Currently there is no event space or hotel at the Bagley location. However it is
possible in the future. The expansion will be determined by requests from
