Choctaw Durant opens expansion Feb. 9

DURANT, OK – Choctaw Casino Resort plans a ribbon cutting ceremony Feb. 9 for
the grand opening of its new $300 million expansion. The celebration will
include the lighting of the hotel tower followed a display of fireworks.
On Feb. 10 and 11 the casino will give away $1,000 every hour from noon to 9
p.m. On Friday through Saturday, $10,000 will be given away every hour from noon
to 9 p.m.
The casino will also give away a Lexus GS 350, RX 350 SUV, or a 250 convertible.
The new Poker Room will host three professional poker players – TJ Cloutier,
Kathy Leibert and Tom McEvoy – from Feb. 9, to Feb. 14. They will hold seminars
and also play poker with the guests.
Hotel guests can take advantage of discounted room rates ranging from $99 to
$149 a night from Feb. 9 to Feb. 14.
The new $300 million expansion will feature 110,000 square feet of gaming space,
3,000 slot machines, 30 poker tables and 38 table games including blackjack,
roulette, mini-baccarat, three card poker, pai gow poker, let it ride, and
ultimate Texas hold'em. The 204,000 square foot hotel offers 220 guest rooms, an
indoor/outdoor pool, spa and fitness center.
