The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma is building a new $23 million casino named Cherokee
Casino Grove. It is located on a 24-acre site near the intersection of Highway 59 and
East 250 Road, which is known locally as Tom Cat Corner. The official groundbreaking was March 28,
Cherokee Casino Grove will be the 10th and newest casino owned by the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma.
The tribe also owns casinos in Fort Gibson, Ramona, Roland, Sallisaw, South
Coffeyville, West Siloam Springs, Tahlequah, Will Rogers Downs, and the
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa.
