GEYSERVILLE, CA - River Rock Casino received the gold medal for "Best Entertainment Venue" last week from Northbay biz, a business magazine for Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties. The magazine's annual poll counted 40,000 votes from its readers in rating their favorite business in several categories. River Rock Casino was the readers choice as Sonoma County's best entertainment destination.
"We are proud to have received this award," said Chris Wright, Advertising Manager at the casino. "As we move forward, we will continue to expand our entertainment offerings and provide new and exciting gaming promotions. We have made it a priority to offer our guests an experience that is unmatched in the area."
River Rock Casino offers a wide range of entertainment from gaming to dining to live music to the beauty of Alexander Valley.
The casino recently introduced Lounge 128 featuring premium wines, cigars, specialty drinks, micro-brews, and live entertainment. The lounge opens at 5 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
Additional projects are underway to bring a new player's club and a reconfigured casino floor with wider aisles and new slot machines.
