Robert L. Anthony is newly appointed to the Michigan Gaming Control Board. The appointment came today by Governor Rick Snyder. Anthony is replacing Judge Kenneth Sanborn. His term ended on December 31 of last year.
Anthony previously specialized in risk management at the firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. There he was a partner and has now retired. He will serve the Michigan Gaming Control Board, until his term expires in 2014.
Michigan's horse racing industry, the three casinos in Detroit, and their suppliers are all regulated by the state's Gaming Control Board.
