The final steel beam has been placed for the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino
expansion project.
Construction on the $40 million project began four months ago. The last beam was
placed on Wednesday.
The two story casino will be gaining close to 30,000 square feet of amenities on
each floor. Over 300 new slot machines and more table games will be added. New
event space and new shopping will be added to the first floor. Also a new
restaurant, Western Door, will be added to the second floor.
The construction has created 440 jobs. 300 new jobs will be added once the
expansion project is completed.
Every year nearly 3 million people visit the casino.
